The WHOIS information pertaining to your domain name becomes publicly available to everyone after the domain name registration procedure itself. You’ll be able to elude that by ordering an Whois Privacy Protection service for your domain name. With it, your personal or business details, including your name, e–mail address and street address, will be substituted with fictitious information. To order Whois Privacy Protection for your domain name, just choose the domain and click on the Whois Privacy Protection button to request the activation of this service.

At CLOUDSTARKS, we give you total control over your domains’ DNS resource records. Via the Custom DNS section of the Domain Manager, you can edit various types of DNS records for a chosen domain. These include A, AAAA, MX, NS, SRV, CNAME and TXT resource records. To add a new resource record, all you have to do is choose a domain name and enter the desired value in the respective record field. To update the DNS resource record – click ’Modify’; to restore the initial value – click on ’Revert’.

With the GeoIP location tool, also available in the Custom DNS section, you’ll be able to present a given language version of your website to visitors from a given location.

With the help of the Wildcard DNS option, you will be able to make all your current sub–domains direct to the main page of your website. For instance, when a person types in any.domain.com or smth.domain.com, they’ll be forwarded to http://domain.com/.

You may need the Wildcard DNS functionality for a multi–site app such as WordPress or Joomla^™ Multi–Site.

To add a wildcard domain name, proceed to the Domain Manager section of your Control Panel and then press the Add Host button located on the right. At the bottom of the options list, you will see the Wildcard Domain tickbox.
